I have mentioned it few times in different topics....

It always pays to message the guys who are breaking a ls400

The gear knob and steering wheel on my 1990 ls400 are very worn. Either a bad leather dye or it has been driven by a guy with hands like sand paper.

Also the original Lexus floor mats were missing

Messaged a guy on eBay breaking a same year as mine

He sent me pics of the parts so now I have a pretty much mint gear knob and steering wheel plus a lovely set of lexus mats and all that for £35 posted.

Result! and also a very nice guy to deal with

Same here, an air con compressor for my LS430, £50 + £10 delivery, in perfect working order.

eBay varies, some sellers ask stupid prices ( normally breakers yards selling parts you will never need like a wheel arch liner) and then you get the private guys who on the whole are reasonable in pricing.

I'm still looking for 2 decent series IV door mirrors or just the glass.

Sometimes when things look to good to be true, they are!

I have never received the parts I paid for.

I've sent him several emails to request the status of my parcel.

No reply at all so had to go through Paypal to get my money back.

Avoid eBay seller dan.mk2 !!

Hey Guys, after ordering 3 parts already I recommend eBay seller 10xlr8.

He wrecks lots of LS400s.

My experience with him wan't good - first collect at one place then another, then he'll be in touch. Waste of time I found, but it was exhaust parts I was after. He is a part timer breaking cars. Good luck
