Looking very nice and the torch is still in the bag :)

Have you had it from new with a mere 72,000 on the clock?

Posted

No I have just got the car a fortnight ago. It was owned by a man in his 80's from new (he paid £48,000 for it in 1998) Came with his personalised plate. He has given up driving and it was his weekend car. I do not think anyone has been in the back! It came with sheepskin mats. Very pleased with it so far - everything seems to work.

Very rare to find a one owner LS400 these days with such low mileage, should serve you well for many years to come :)

Mine was a one previous Japanese owner import with just 38,000 miles on it bought over 8 years ago and still going strong.

Great bargain find. You have done very well finding such a nice example. Happy motoring. Mike.

Too late, he sold it to me!

Amazing really to find one like that, as Steve says, should last many years.

Lovely LS, wish mine looked as nice.

Let's have a look then with some pictures :)

I've decided as I can't find any clear front indicators I'm going to delete them altogether.

I had a play and fitted the side light where the fog light was originally, then fitted the indicator in the side light.

Obviously I was just trying it out and the orange bulb I had kicking around had most of the orange missing.

Beautiful car, makes me miss mine even more. I think my next car change will entail some saving and a good mk4 or ls430...should NEVER have sold my 67k mk3... You told me so, shoulda listened!

but derrrrr, doesn't that mean your sidelights light up orange? which is surely not legal?

You can get clear sidelights fromthe States - look on t'baydotcom

You misunderstand. The side light is now where the fog light was in the headlight unit.

The original indicator will be smoothed out.
