This company is featured in the current issue of Car Mechanics magazine, I am not affiliated to either the magazine or the company concerned but thought this information may be of interest or even benefit to any members with an RX300 suffering the symptoms described,particularly if Lexus insist on a complete new transmission!

Could be a good solution for somebody.

Not sure about their description of a common complaint though. Not seeing it on these forums. They also state the ECU is for 2000 to 2006. 2003 saw the launch of the series II with a completely different transmission so the ECU isn't common across those six years.

Worth knowing.

Though think I'll just stick with clean transmission fluid for now... :shifty:
