The rear blind on my 250 has stopped working! Its in the 'up' position, so I'm not overly bothered (until I want to clean the inside of the rear screen....!), but wondered if anyone had any pointers. If I press the switch, I can hear a click in the rear....I assume the fuse is OK as other things on the same fuse are fine.

Clicks are normally relays so agreed power probably present, perhaps a jammed motor if you can get to it?

Hi Pete, I would think the motor for the blind is built into the blind unit at the bottom part of the unit if that makes any sense ?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, that makes sense. Tbh though, I'm not going to bother with it unless it becomes absolutely necessary......such as when the rear screen's that mucky inside I can't see through it!

Funnily enough, it did suddenly go down a while ago, when I engaged reverse gear, and it went back up again when I pressed the switch....but its now stuck 'up' again. There was someone in the rear seats when it fired up....tried recreating that, in case the weight was pressing on something, but no-go.

Sit in the rear and get some-one else to operate the switch so that you can locate exactly where the click is coming from. It may just need a bit of a tap on the relay or whatever is clicking.
