This Is A Serious Request For Advice/help

Recommended Posts

Today I returned to my car and it would not start. There were absolutely no electrical functions at all in the car. I called the assist company and they could not start the car - apparently there is a charge in the Battery, but this is not getting to the required systems.

I had to get delivered home, first time ever in 35 yrs of driving.

Please help??????

Main fuse blown? That is surely the only thing that could stop absolutely everything from working. I have no info on location of electrical stuff on 220Ds so can't help with locating it. But it will be a big 50A (at least) fuse.

Guys,

Many thanks for taking the time to respond. My mechanic found the fault reasonably quickly, it was a bad earth on the Battery so he created a new earth point and the car is running fine again.

Thank the Lord
