that's for the project, if they make it (an they won't), production costs would be far lower so the public price should be more about 100,000 euros maybe lower

If it's made completly in a Toyota factory then it would cost around £35k any more and it would be a waste of time.

the is430 has never been seen out testing in europe,

the car that was seen out testing was chassis testing for the cough cough new AWD system for the new V6...cough cough

Well we do need a 40/50k IS to compete with M sport and AMG etc

well when i was speaking at TTE earlier in the year, i was told that the Lexus brand and image will move away from "sport" models and concentrate on LUXURY instead.

so i still wouldnt hold your breath for a M beater.....

maybe some specials will be built, but from what i have heard so far, it doesnt look likely in the near distant future

I quite like the way the IS has become popular as a luxury brand but can have that sporty look with a few mods. and i think it should stay that way.

Toyota do the sporty bit!
