Is220d Start Button

hi everyone.ive just bought a is220. when I lock the car and then re enter it

the start button works everytime..however if im sat in the car and turn the engine off I have problems re starting the car..the light dosent turn green ?. can anyone help please...Alan :-)

U have to press clutch pedal first @ wait few seconds green light should come on

I do press the clutch..but it only seems to work when I have locked and then unlocked the car ??

Have u got spare key try that it may a fault in key or try changing Battery in key fob does it say" key not recognised" if Battery is weak it will not start

That is problem with smart keys the other day there was interference on my road couldn't even unlock it opened using small key got it started took it another Road it's fine brought it back on my road same thing in evening ok there could b interference take it to different location and try it smart key uses same signal as mobile phones good luck
