430 much better than 400? The 400 I had was fantastic .............. now I am in a dilemma! But those suspension niggles will keep me awake at night I feel!

Which one to choose ............ the decision will be agony!

Oh Eff, I wish I had seen your post before I chucked my 430 away yesterday :(

I thought the car was OK as it had coils fitted, thus negating the 430's one big issue.

The only things that didn't work were the A/C & the headlight washers, but it was a joy to drive.

However the words of 'The Association of 400 Worshipper's' finally got to me. The nagging doubts crept in. Despite having driven a very well-maintained 400 & finding it a bit of a blancmange when pushed, there had to be something I had missed. Some mystical element perhaps?

So, as I said, yesterday it was disposed of.

I parked it by the communal bins up the road with a notice attached.

For all I know it might still be there, but I wont be looking.
