Touching Up

Have been waiting for ages for touch up (plat silver) to arrive from Japan (apparently Lexus Sheff couldn't get hold of one from anywhere in the UK). Now i have it i am not convinced that it will be correct colour for my motor. Many of you must have touched up areas on your cars so you should be in a position to advise.

The touch up is a base colour and then it needs a top coat of laquer. It just doesn't look right in the container. Id say that it is too silvery. Is there any way that i can prevent the motor from looking like its had a dose of chicken pox. :duh:

:whistling: zee should be abloe to help, hes constantly "touching up" his car

Yeah but Zee just touches up his car :whistling: , nothing to do with paint.

:lol::lol::lol:

The paint should be fine aski - in small amounts to touch up. If you are concerned about laquer (or lack of it), then nip down to Halfords and purchase a laquer pen to go over the paint....

It'll probably dry quite different to how it looks in the tin - try it in an unobtrusive spot first.
