Hi all

I was wondering if any of you learned gents could help me

I have the chance of a Mark levinson Head unit from a 2006 and was thinking of exchanging it with my premium Head unit.

It is not for the extra speakers just for the display as I think the Marl Levinson is High Definitation

1 will it go straight in

2 Will i need to also change amp if so i will abort it

3 will everything work as before i e camera ,climate controls

thanks in anticipation

Hi Robert,

I don't know if everything in your car would still work with the upgrade, but I've just checked in my boot and my amp has a Mark Levinson label on it, so I expect that you would need a Mark Levinson amp to go with your head unit.

I would be surprised if your amp was compatible with the Levinson head, unless anyone else can enlighten me.

Hi Giles

Yes on further thought i too concur that it will not be possible it was just that the clunky old 600/400 display annoys me but not the end of the world

Thanks for your reply

Robert
